TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SquadHQ ("we," "us," or "our"), a software-as-a-service application that provides team management and statistics tracking tools for amateur, recreational, and semi-professional soccer teams (the "Services"), available at squadhq.online. By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. ELIGIBILITY

SquadHQ is intended for users who are at least 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are an adult of legal age and capable of forming a binding contract. Team rosters, match statistics, and other data entered into the Services must not identify minors — see our Privacy Notice for details.

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. TEAMS, ROLES & INVITES

Teams created within SquadHQ are managed by an owner, who may invite other users as editors or viewers. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of data entered for their team and for managing who has access to it, including via invite links and read-only public share links. We are not responsible for disputes between team members over data accuracy, membership, or access.

4. YOUR CONTENT

"Your Content" means any data you or your team submit to the Services — rosters, match results, statistics, messages, and similar information. You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process it solely to provide and improve the Services. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the right to submit it.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
Submit data identifying minors, or content that is abusive, harassing, or infringes another person's rights;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another team's data or to the Services' underlying systems;
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including via scraping, automated abuse, or excessive requests.

6. AI-POWERED FEATURES

SquadHQ offers an AI analyst and related features powered by third-party AI providers, including Anthropic. These features generate insights based on data you enter and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated output, and you are solely responsible for any decisions made based on it. Usage of AI features may be rate-limited.

7. FEES

SquadHQ is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans or features in the future, we will provide notice and obtain your consent before charging you, and these Terms will be updated accordingly.

8. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued provision of the Services becomes impractical. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, though certain provisions of these Terms will survive.

9. DISCLAIMERS

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SQUADHQ LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
